Community Christmas 2006

Saturday, December 9th, 2006, CCS hosted this year's Community Christmas. Over 200 volunteers provided a hot breakfast, live entertainment, children's crafts, and visits with Santa for almost 1600 of our neighbors! Many special thanks to Marsha Edwards and Virginia Salinas for heading up the event this year. We also would like to recognize our very own Think Band, our fantastic Youth Group, Boy Scout Troop 42, Girl Scout Troops 2416 and 1941, and Deputy Chief Sherryl Smith and the Dallas Police Department and explorers for helping to keep things running smoothly. The North Texas Food Bank, along with Hines Nut Company, Schepps Dairy, St. Paul Place, and Dan Realty Corporation also made fantastic contributions to the event.

Thanks to all involved, this year was again a wonderful success!
