Each year, the Committee on Missions and Outreach of First United Methodist Church coordinates a one-day event called One Great Gift of Service as an opportunity for any and all First Church members and friends to go out into our community in service.  Through various service projects, First Church Friends are able to select a project that interests them, and work alongside familiar faces or new faces throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

The 2007 One Great Gift of Service (OGGS) Co-Chairs, Karen Stephens and Brianna Brown, did a fantastic job of coordinating nearly twenty service projects throughout the community.  This year's event was a huge success, thanks to the hard work of our OGGS Co-Chairs and the 400+ participating volunteers!
