New Year, New Home.
Crossroads is moving to the Pollock Campus!
Crossroads Community Services is honored to announce that we have been chosen to operate as the southern sector hub for the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB), and we are moving to their former location on Cockrell Hill Road. This move will allow us to distribute more food to more individuals and to begin to look at additional service offerings.
Beginning in 2019 we will settle into our new home at the Pollock Campus and will officially open our doors on January 4, 2019.
As the North Texas Food Bank's feeding network southern sector hub, Crossroads will continue to service our Community Distribution Partners (CDPs) and will begin servicing feeding network agencies in 2019. Crossroads will also expand its service area, serving CDPs and agencies in Ellis and Navarro counties for the first time. We will start serving our CDPs and agencies in early January and will open our pantry doors at a later date in 2019.
There has been an overall positive reaction about our move from our current pantry clients. Many of them have said they look forward to our new location, where there will be free parking and more space for additional services. This move will also allow us to attract new clients who have not had the ability or desire to make the trip to our downtown location.
The larger building will also allow us to expand our wraparound services beyond our current in-house pantry, allowing us to enhance our ability to nourish people and power change!
