If you are interested in a
speaker's presentation to your group,
please contact Gregg Smith

We provide the following services:
Clothing Service - New and gently worn clothing is distributed to the homeless and low-income households in the Dallas area.
Food Distribution -
CCS provides groceries for low-income persons who have their own residence in the city of Dallas.
Pet Food - CCS is happy to announce a new
pilot program in cooperation with the
Society for the Prevention
of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA): the Pet-O-Meals
program! In addition to our food distribution, we have
begun handing out pet food donated by the SPCA to our
clients with pets. Watch for more information on this
program coming soon!
Community Voicemail
- If you do not have a phone but would like to have your
own personalized answering service, please come to CCS
on Monday or Wednesday between 10am and noon to sign up.
DART Passes - We may provide DART passes for a verifiable doctor’s appointment, social services appointment, parole or probation appointment, job interview, or new job (when you have no other transportation).
Computers - When we have them, CCS gives used computers to individuals and families on a case-by-case basis
Financial aid - We provide financial aid to persons who face the possibility of eviction or loss of utility service.
Last year we distributed over 90,000 articles of
clothing and over 300,000 pounds of food to families and
individuals living in the city of Dallas.
CCS is now the largest distributor of food for the North Texas Food Bank!
Last year we helped 220 families keep their dwelling or utility service. This year we will help more households. With adequate contributions and by networking with other organizations providing financial support, we will garner more money per household as well as devote more time per person for skills development to ensure the people we assist retain their housing and utility service.
Our excellent staff working with over 180 fantastic
volunteers make this vibrant and vital ministry possible.
