Summer Interns Spotlight
Crossroads was fortunate to have three wonderful interns on our team for the summer! Our interns came from a variety of backgrounds and fields of study, and spent their summers contributing to our client services, research initiatives, community partnerships, development efforts, and more. What an asset they were to our team!
Katherine Fisher: Northwestern University Class of 2017 Psychology and Learning & Organizational Change Major
Christian Huitz: University of Dallas Class of 2016 Economics and Political Science Major
Shakera Peck: North Dallas High School Class of 2016 Dallas Mayor's Intern Fellow
Thank you, Katherine, Shakera, and Christian!

For the first time, Crossroads participated in the Dallas Mayor's Intern Fellows Program (MIFP) This unique 8-week program, begun in 2008, is modeled after the White House Fellows Program and provides Dallas public high school students with paid summer work experiences in addition to professional development training and mentoring.
We're excited to participate again next year, and for many years to come! Thank you to Bank of America for sponsoring our Mayor's Intern Fellow this year. Learn more about MIFP by visiting their website.
