ASC Silent Auction

We are grateful for ASC’s support this coming April 25 at their annual Silent Auction. With The Date Catering returning this year to cater the event, the Silent Auction is guaranteed to be a fun and exciting way to support our new campaigns.

ASC Luncheon

Attorneys Serving the Community and Crossroads Community Services are thrilled to announce Chef Kwame Onwuachi will serve as the keynote speaker at ASC’s 37th Annual Luncheon Benefiting Crossroads Community Services on June 21.

Our vision is to strengthen families by building nutrition-stable communities.

Crossroads distributes food through our Community Market and network of 150 distribution partners, which includes agencies located throughout Dallas, Ellis, and Navarro counties.  With the support of ASC, Crossroads can ensure equitable and consistent access to nutritious food through the following programs.

Culinary Medicine Teaching Kitchen:

A new program to be launched inside our renovated commercial kitchen will give shoppers nutritional choices and increase their consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables by offering cooking demonstrations and samples made with products available in Crossroads’ Market.

Community Market Services:

In-Person and Curbside experiences where we serve our shoppers through a client-choice grocery experience at no cost to them.

Nutrition Pharmacy :

We plan to launch the Pharmacy in the coming year, the first of its kind in North Texas.  We will offer food assistance to patients with co-occurring diagnoses of food insecurity and chronic health conditions at a second smaller Crossroads Market.  This collaboration with UT Southwestern Medical Center, Parkland Health, and Children’s Health will be located adjacent to these health providers inside RedBird Mall in Southern Dallas County.

Children’s Mini Market:

Children/youth visiting our Market with their families often come in extremely hungry.  To assist their parents’ grocery experience, we want to offer a safe, designated area for children to eat a nutritious snack, play, and learn about food while their parents shop.
